Rob has worked in financial services since 2011. He began his career with Santander, where he held a variety of roles across the south coast, including branch management. Driven by an ambition to provide genuinely unbiased, holistic advice, Rob moved into independent financial planning and joined Strategic Solutions in 2020.
Today, Rob works alongside firm principal Kevin Forbes and fellow advisers Jon and Paul, helping individuals and families navigate a complex financial landscape. As a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS), he prides himself on technical knowledge, combined with an ongoing commitment to professional development. Rob is also an accredited member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA).
He specialises in investment planning and retirement strategy, delivering clear, tailored financial roadmaps that give long-term clarity and peace of mind.

At home
Outside the office, Rob lives with his wife, dog and two cats. He is an avid cyclist and sports enthusiast who has completed several endurance challenges, including self-supported charity rides from London to Madrid and coast to coast across the United States.
Rob also serves as Trustee and Secretary of the Strategic Solutions Community Foundation, which supports grassroots initiatives and charitable causes across the region. He is always keen to hear about local projects that may benefit from support, so please get in touch with any nominations.
