Russell entered the financial services profession in 2001. He worked initially at Liverpool Victoria, then at Lloyds TSB, where he became a financial adviser, then HBOS and Nationwide.
In 2013, Russell set up his own business as an independent financial adviser and has since become a Chartered financial planner.

At home
Russell is married and lives with his wife and three children. In his spare time, he enjoys walking and cycling, as well as spending time with his wider family.
He’s also a keen rugby enthusiast and holds a Level 2 England Rugby coaching award. He puts this good use, coaching in the Mini section at Oakmeadians Rugby Club in Bournemouth.
Russell is chairman of the Strategic Solutions Community Foundation. The foundation is committed to supporting financial education and giving back to the communities of our clients and employees.
