At work
Rob has worked in financial services since 1996, beginning his career with Clerical Medical before transitioning into the advisory profession in the late 1990s. He held roles at John Charcol and Savills Private Finance, followed by a brief period in private banking with UBS. In 2007, Rob became a financial adviser with Chase De Vere, later spending 12 years at Black Swan Financial Planning. He joined Strategic Solutions in June 2025 and is currently working toward Chartered status.
As an adviser, Rob is committed to making the complex clear, helping clients navigate an ever-evolving financial landscape with confidence. He is a strong advocate for the value of independent advice and believes firmly in the power of thoughtful, strategic financial planning.

At home
Outside of work, Rob enjoys a full and lively family life. Married with three children, three cats, and two dogs, he relocated from London to the sunny south coast in 2014. These days, he can often be found on coastal dog walks or sea swimming when the weather allows.
A lover of books, films, and football, Rob is also a keen home cook who’s just as comfortable with a chef’s knife as he is with a financial plan.
